Framing Question in English Grammar: How to Frame Questions

यदी answer “Yes or No”  में प्राप्त होता है तो उसका Question Helping Verb से बनता है और जिस Tense में Answer होता है उसी Tense में Question बनाते है |

H.V. + Subject + verb + object +?



Yes, I am going to America. (Answer)

Are you going to America? (Question)


No, I don’t want to take tea. (Answer)

Do you want to take tea? (Question)


Yes, He has received Ashok Chakra. (Answer)

Has he received Ashok Chakra? (Question)


No, I did not go to play cricket with Rahul yesterday.  (Answer)

Yes, we were making noise in the class. (Answer)

No, I have not been working in this company since 1995.  (Answer)

Questions Start with WH Group


What, When, How, Where, Why, Which, Who, Whose, whom का प्रयोग वाक्य (Sentence) में दी गई कोई 'सूचना या जानकारीप्राप्त करने के लिए होता है |

Objective Case के लिए Whom” का प्रयोग करते है |

Possessive Case के लिए Whose’ का प्रयोग करते है |

What का प्रयोग 'वस्तु की पहचान या व्यक्तिके profession को ज्ञात करने के लिए होता है |

When का प्रयोग Time (समय) को व्यक्त करने के लिए होता है |

Where का प्रयोग place (स्थान) को व्यक्त करने के लिए होता है |

Why का प्रयोग reason (कारण) प्रकट करने के लिए होता है |

Which का प्रयोग Selection (चयन) प्रकट करने के लिये होता है |

How का प्रयोग manner and condition (तरीका और दशा) प्रकट करने के लिये होता है |

Whose/whom/who का प्रयोग व्यक्ति की identity (पहचान) प्रकट करने के लिये होता है |

Subjective Case में who का प्रयोग होता है |

When the answer starts with ‘Yes or No’.
