Determiners Rules in English Grammar

 

A modifying word that determines the kind of reference a noun or noun group has, for example, a, the, every.

 

Determiners का उपयोग English Grammar में Article की तरह किया जाता है | 

Type of Determiners

 

Use of Some: - 

Some का अर्थ होता है: - कुछ 

 

इसका प्रयोग Countable or Uncountable Noun के लिए किया जाता है इसका प्रयोग Simple or Interrogative sentencesके लिए किया जाता है |

Examples:

I have some money to purchase a mobile.

She has some books of Mahatma Gandhi.

Use of Any: - 

Any का अर्थ होता है: - कुछ

इसका प्रयोग Countable or Uncountable noun के लिए किया जाता है इसका प्रयोग Negative Sentences  के लिए किया जाता है वाक्य (Sentence) में यदी Nothing, Not, None, Rarely, Scarcely, Hardly आदि शब्द आये तो हम वाक्य (Sentence)  में 'Any' का प्रयोग करते है |

Examples:

I have not any books on English Grammar.

 

She has hardly any ink pen.

Use of little, a little, the little, few, a few, the few

Little	few	थोडा नगण्य न के बराबर
A little	A few	थोडा सा
The little	The few	जो भी थोडा सा

 

Little, a little, the little Determiners का प्रयोग Uncountable Noun के लिए किया जाता है |

Few, a few, the few Determiners का उपयोग Countable Noun के लिए किया जाता है |

यदी वाक्य (Sentence)  में ‘न के बराबर’ का अर्थ प्रकट हो तो हम "little or few" का प्रयोग करते है |

यदी वाक्य (Sentence) में ‘थोडा सा’ का अर्थ  प्रकट हो तो हम "a little or a few" का प्रयोग करते है |

यदी वाक्य में (Sentence) ‘जो भी थोडा सा’ का अर्थ प्रकट हो तो हम "the little or the few" का प्रयोग करते है |

Examples:

Only a few students can go to America for further study.

 

I have little milk, so I can prepare only one cup tea.

I have invited a few guests to my birthday party.

I have a little milk, so I can three cups of tea.

I have invited the few guests to my birthday party, has gone away.

I have the little milk in my pot, the cat has drunk it.
