My today’s discussion is on the use of preposition with Examples in Hindi. I am explaining use of preposition and its variation. I am explaining the use of preposition with examples and preposition types and each topic with formulas. If you want to learn the use of preposition with examples successfully, you will have to study the examples attentively.
Use of preposition is very important topic as Direct-Indirect and Passive Voice.
"A preposition is word which is used before Noun or Pronoun to show its relation to some other word in the sentence".
"Preposition (सम्बंध्सुचक) वह शब्द है जो किसी Noun or Pronoun से पूर्व प्रयुक्त होकर उसका सम्बन्ध वाक्य के किसी अन्य Noun or Pronoun से व्यक्त करे" |
Examples:
She is sitting on the floor.
I killed a snake with a stick.
He is in the room,
I am coming into the class room.
1. Simple Preposition: In, on, at,to, from, with, by etc. These are called Simple Preposition,
2. Compound Preposition: About, across, among, between, beside, before etc. These are called Compound preposition.
3. Phrase Preposition: According to, In spite of, an account of, in front of, in order to, in sake of, by means of, with reference to, in addition to, due to etc. These are called Phrase Preposition.
1.Use of Above: जब कोई वस्तु किसी वस्तु के उपर होती है और दोनों एक दुसरे को Touch नहीं करती है तो हम Above का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
Some birds are flying above the building.
2.Use of Over: जब कोई वस्तु किसी वस्तु के उपर लम्बवत दूरी पर होती है तो हम Over का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
The fan is over my head.
3.Use of On: जब कोई वस्तु किसी वस्तु के उपर होती है और Touch करती है तो हम On का प्रयोग करते है
Example:
The book is on my table.
4. Use of ‘Of’: का,के,की के अर्थ में और सम्बन्ध दर्शाने के लिए Of का प्रयोग किया जाता है |
Example:
Ram is the best friend of Mohan.
5. Use of By: ‘के द्वारा’ के अर्थ में By काप्रयोग करते है |
Example:
He goes to school every day by bus.
6. Use of ‘To’: उद्देश्य दर्शाने के अर्थ में To का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
She is going to market with her husband.
7. Use of With: से,साथ अथवा साधन के अर्थ में With का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
I go to school every day with my best friend.
She eats rice with spoon.
8. Use of Since: निश्चितसमय के लिए Since का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
I have been working in this company since 1995.
9. Use of For: समय की मात्रा के लिए अथवा ‘के लिए’ के अर्थ में For का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
She has been reading her chapter for 4 hours.
She is cooking delicious food for the guest.
10. Use of Across: पार करने के अर्थ में |
Examples:
He always goes to school across the river.
11. Use of Along: किनारे किनारे चलने के अर्थ में |
Examples:
He walks along the road.
12. Use of Between: दो Persons या दो Things के बीच में Compare करने के लिये |
Examples:
Divide the mangoes between Ram and Shayam.
13. Use of Among: दो या दो से अधिक Persons or Things में Compare करने के लिये |
Example:
Divide the mangoes among the class.
14. Use of From: कही से अलग होने के अर्थ में From का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
He is coming from the school.
15. Use of After: बाद में या आगे के अर्थ में |
Example:
He sits after me in the class.
16. Use of Before: पीछे या पहले के अर्थ में |
Example:
She sits before me in the class.
17. Use of Under: जब कोई वस्तु किसी वस्तु के निचे होती है और दोनों एक दुसरे को Touch नहीं करती है तो हम Under का प्रयोग करते है |
Example:
The Lion was sleeping under the tree.
18. Use of Up: उपर चढने के अर्थ में |
Example:
He climbed up the tree.
19. Use of Down: नीचे उतरने के अर्थ में |
Example:
She is coming down from the hill.
20. Use of In: जब कोई वस्तु पहले से ही अंदर होती है तो हम In का प्रयोग करते है | समय के अर्थ में भी हम In का प्रयोग करते है |
Examples:
He is playing cricket in the evening.
He is reading in the classroom.
21. Use of Into: जब कोई वस्तु बाहर से अंदर की और जाती है तो हम Into का प्रयोग करते है |
Examples:
She is coming into my room for study.
22. Use of At: समय के अर्थ में अथवा पर के अर्थ में At का प्रयोग करते है |
Examples:
He is at the door of my house.
I always go to school at 7 am.
23. Use of About: "के बारे में’ के अर्थ में About का प्रयोग करते है |
Examples:
He is talking about me.
24. Use of Through: ‘के माध्यम या जरिये के’ अर्थ में |
Examples:
The thief came into my house through the window.
25. Use of Towards: "की तरफ से के अर्थ में" |
Examples:
He is coming towards the Chandpol.
26. Use of During: 'के दौरान के अर्थ में' |
Examples:
He will come to me during one hour.
27. Use of Within: 'समय अंतराल के अर्थ में' |
Examples:
I will complete my work within one month.
28. Use of till: 'तक के अर्थ में' |
Examples:
He will wait for me till 1 pm.
